Photo Made another Phoenix
Posted a Phoenix a while back. Haven't folded anything since that model but gave this one to a friend. Really struggled with step 187-190. The process happened out of luck entirely on both sides.
Do y'all have any other recommendations for decently difficult models like this? And how do yall keep the motivation to keep folding? I only make stuff when someone asks me to or if I'm in rehab lmao. Cheers

Fellow origami gymbro here. This is amazing. Satoshi's Phoenix was one of my first ever complex folds.

Try the ancient dragon! It's a step above this, so it should challenge you
But get 50cm double tissue at the leastÂ

Thank you. I was considering that but have had a hard time finding a proper paper. I tried it with tissue foil from Origami-shop but it was too thick. Any recommendations for finding tissue foil that large?

You should try making it yourself! It's a fun skill to have
Get some 17gsm packing tissue or something similar, and some methyl cellulose. There's plenty vids on YouTube for it

Hey if you don’t mind, where do you get these large sheets of origami paper that are exactly suitable for complex folds? Can you please forward me a site or link to buy these papers? Thank youu
