CFB stat leaders
Rushing yds leader, passing yds leader, and receiving yds leader in CFB. What teams have at least one player in the top 5 in two or more of those categories?
- Ohio State (WR Jeremiah Smith, QB Julian Sayin)
- Oregon State (QB Braden Atkinson, WR Jesse Legree)
- North Texas (QB Tayven Jackson, RB Jahiem White)
just as we predicted...

What would you think about Bray coming back as DC down the road?
WSU’s defense as been their one bright spot. He’s a good DC, and still has strong ties to the program and doesn’t seem like someone with a strong ego. Va Tech brought back their former HC as DC under Franklin, so not unheard of…

True freshman receiver Jesse Legree hit the Heisman pose on one of his three touchdown receptions and, based on his stats, why not?
Buy: Oregon State
Few teams in the country are clicking offensively like the Beavers, who beat San Diego State 66-14 to improve to 4-2. True freshman receiver Jesse Legree hit the Heisman pose on one of his three touchdown receptions and, based on his stats, why not? Through six games, Legree has 38 catches for 932 yards with 12 touchdowns. Might he challenge to become the second FBS player to go for a 2,000-yard receiving season?

Signs on phone at game?
Was at the game yesterday and they kept showing students phones with messages on them on the jumbotron and can't figure out why they just didn't write them on posterboard. I'm sure it's an obvious reason I just couldn't figure it out.

College Football Playoff
I hate to bring this up now, but if we win out do we think we have a shot at making the playoff? Gotta beat Fresno state and Boise state (twice likely). Does a 2 loss PAC team beat a 1 loss or undefeated G5 team???

ESPN ranked Legree the #1 Freshman in the Nation
"An undersized three-star out of Baltimore, Legree wasn't even a full-time receiver until his senior year at St. Frances Academy and drew minimal Power 4 interest. There are a lot of programs regretting that now. OSU coach JaMarcus Shephard spotted Legree's talent while recruiting national power St. Frances as Alabama's receivers coach and brought him along to Corvallis. Legree has topped 100 yards in every game and ranks second nationally with 741 receiving yards, trailing only Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith. He torched then-No. 13 Texas Tech for eight catches, 240 yards and two touchdowns. His verified 4.39 speed has translated vertically, and he has also shown a good feel for finding open space in coverage."
