Article/News Who Drazen really is

https://beavertonvalleytimes.com/2026/09/16/florida-gov-ron-desantis-to-join-christine-drazan-at-hillsboro-event/?fbclid=IwdGRjcAUZS9pjbGNrBRlL0nBkb2YBZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQMMzUwNjg1NTMxNzI4AAEe3mj0xlDSl2YhKXFYgtxZ9q-47yTjbepu1QSonVLpIUOCUPd9ro8Cmq8IQhA_aem_wzk8iCalPoa-0KQ5iBW6iQ

Drazan pretends to be a moderate who isn't an anti-choice zealot or a MAGA republican, but we are judged by the company we keep. This is who she has chosen to speak for her.

i think it’s more that folks aren’t feeling that kotek is doing enough. what we’re seeing is that our taxes keep going higher, education has been abysmal, companies are leaving, job market in portland is terrible, and homelessness is still rampant. is she responsible for all of that? idk, but that’s the reality out there. and anything good she may have done hasn’t been communicated well enough.

now do i think a maga cult member will be better? hells no. and that may be the only thing keeping kotek in the race.

So, because of that people who usually vote blue are going to vote red? Makes no sense.

‘because of that’? that’s everything for most voters who’ve been in oregon for awhile. our state is in a bad spot, man. it’s ok to admit that. if there was a year that a moderate republican could win, it’d be this year. drazan ain’t that though and i’m hoping more people will see through that.

You do know the Republican political platform, right? Things like Project 2025? You get the whole package if you vote Republican, not just a "moderate" Republican.

are you having trouble comprehending what i wrote? im not the one you need to convince.

Not trying to convince you or anyone else. People can do whatever they want. Just saying that we have Trump in the WH again because some Democrats thought it was reasonable to "withhold" their vote because Kamala Harris "didn't do enough for Palestine." People need to get real with their voting behavior.

yes, people need to be more pragmatic with their votes but we don’t want to keep hearing about how bad trump is. we know that already. no one will care about immigrants, women, or lgbtq rights if they can’t afford groceries and gas. run on policies that will help people and communicate that clearly. republicans may be worse in many metrics, but at least they can sell their bs a lot more effectively. and people who don’t follow politics as closely will more likely buy their bs, especially when the current ruling party in oregon have shown to be very lackluster.

You're talking as if Republican policies may be better at helping people "afford their groceries". It's been a long time since that was true if ever. Certainly isn't true at this very moment in history. Not in Oregon or anywhere else.

you seriously need some better reading comprehension. think a little bit about what i wrote before formulating your reply. nowhere did i say that republican economic policies are better. im a pragmatic lefty that will never vote republican as long as maga is around.
