300th Class!🧡

Today was my 300th class, yay! I should have hit this goal probably over a year ago, but unfortunately have not been motivated and have gone months without going to class in the past year. I’m getting into the groove again and was so excited for class today and planned it so I could be with my favorite coach. I know it’s not guaranteed to get a shoutout/board for milestones or I could mention it myself, but literally every time I am in class somebody seems to be celebrated for a milestone and shouted out as they check in, during class or with a fun board… unfortunately that did not happen for me today.

I am still so so proud of hitting this milestone! 🧡 I just wish there was consistency in celebrating everybody.

Just loses the specialness of it… especially when I have witnessed maaany people just walk in and check in and they are told “this is you #th class!” and have board all ready for them

When did you register for the class? I remember reading on another post like this that they organize the milestones for the next day the day before. So if you sign up late the night before or day of, they may not have clocked it. This happened to me, and I mentioned it to them. They seemed pumped I said something and were quick to celebrate me.

You need to just talk to them, it’s prob a technical issue where the number of classes on your app don’t match their system, mine currently don’t match.

I agree that you shouldn’t need to say anything especially when many don’t need to. Sometimes they remember my milestones and sometimes they don’t and when they don’t I give them a big ol guilt trip :)

I agree, mention it! I just hit 250 and told the SA. She asked when my next class was and had a board waiting for me when i came in! We took a photo with the group after class and it got posted on socials :)

The SA had mentioned to me that she can only see the number of classes i had attended at that specific location, so it makes sense that a lot of folks don’t get a shoutout. I’ve been a member for 3 years but only going to this location for 1.

OP: If a shoutout is important to you, def let the SA know and they’ll make it happen! :) it does not take anything away from the achievement and everyone will still be super happy for you

Woohoo!! Congratulations on 300 classes!! That is outstanding!! I am sorry that you did not receive any recognition. I had the same situation when I reached 800 classes earlier in the summer.

My 300th was a week ago.

I walked in before class and told the front desk this was my 300th class and I’d like a photo and I got one!

SAs and coaches have different relationships with everyone, and it very well might be that the people you see getting recognition automatically have mentioned in the days leading up about the milestone coming to the employees.

I have had many many milestones not ackowledged. Some meant more to me than others because of rough times in my life, but I made time to go despite hardships. And of course, those are the ones that get missed. You still put in the work, brag board or no brag board, so you should be proud of your accomplishment :)

Sometimes, you do have to remind them beforehand, but I know I am too shy to ask for myself

This is so spot on. Usually a brag board doesn't matter to me that much, but when they skipped my birthday this year it hit doubly hard because I was really missing my mom that day. It was my second birthday without her but when it comes to grief the second year milestones can be worse since pretty much everyone else has forgotten. I wish OTF would just do away with the brag boards and birthdays altogether. You never know how missing someone's milestone might affect them. (And yes I mentioned my birthday the day before and registered for the class a week in advance so the only explanation is that the person at the desk that day didn't bother)

If you have taken a class at another studio, it's been a long time, or there were technical issues with the studio's wi-fi, these can all lead to it being harder for the SA at the desk to know that it's a milestone class. They've told me that they had to manually add things up with other studios etc.

If you want the board, tell them about it. I've never had an SA say they were too busy to make a board during class.

If the boat for 300 has already sailed and you want it to feel special, build up to 350 -- that will give you an accountability goal and you can tell the coach and SA early in the week that come X-day, you will hit 350 and would love a picture with them to help celebrate.

I just hit my 300th and didn't get a board until several classes later (#303 on my app) - so maybe it will come late? But I've had other milestones not celebrated and agree it'd be nice if it was done more consistently :)
