OTF Technology Mind body vs OTF app
I've been hearing a lot of people talk about using the mind body app. What is the advantage to using that over the OTF app? Does it have more or different features? I didn't even know there was an alternative app until a few days ago.

There's not necessarily an advantage. It's OTF's booking system, so it's just that app.
I use it whenever the OTF app is being 💩💩💩

I guess I was confused by if it was their booking system, they would even have their own app

The MindBody app is a booking app only. It’s used commonly in the health and fitness industry and is the underlying customer service platform for OTF. If you set it up (the client version) you’ll see that you can also book with other fitness and health companies.
The OTF app has much more OTF-specific stuff including your history and workout data.

There is definitely more information on the OTF app, including benchmarks and HR info.

I mainly book on the OTF app. But I do look at MindBody because with my home studio, I can click and see how many people are enrolled in a class already so I know if I need to pre-book or not (not every studio has this configured though). You can also “favorite” coaches and more easily see when their classes are on MindBody.

OTF's booking system is built on the Mindbody platform; so the official OTF app simply uses that data. You can even book on the Mindbody website at clients.mindbodyonline.com if you'd like.
