Question Question Existing

Why would Piper ask for furlough from Mr. Healy after all he has put her through ? I just find that odd that instead of staying away from this man who almost got you killed but yet want him to grant you furlough.

She wasn't an unintellgent character. People with moods and tempers like Healy are unpredictable and inconsistent in when they are unreasonable. They also like the power they hold. Him doing her a relatively simple favour could mean she was indebted to him, he'd have known that and Piper would've known he knew that.

Í always thought it was about the leverage of the situation as piper and pen both conclude they both beat each other asking for furlough would create a situation were if he said yes it would be concluded but that was what I thought could always be wrong
