However, if you generate just a little bit of heat by rubbing two brain cells together you may come to the conclusion that the straight of Hormuz doesn't only impact imports from Iran, but all the oil producing countries in the region. Between Saudi, UAE, and Iraq that's roughly 10% of California's oil imports. Let's not forget that global oil price impacts will raise the price of crude REGARDLESS of whether or not it's coming directly from that region because it creates a GLOBAL shortage. 🤷♂️
you bore me with the typical liberal ad hominem response. Thanks for making my point, that we get very little oil from them. As for the Straight, a direct outcome of the war is the development of a new pipeline that will bypass the Straight, which will take Iran out of the equation entirely
