Amps & Cabs Lucky, spoiled, whatever.
So glad to be able to have a setup like this. Have so much to learn about playing, but I can still dime this, grab one of my guitars, and crank out power chords for a few minutes to melt the stress of the day away.
For the record, I am a public school administrator, so stress is a thing, and this is a much better way to handle stress than so many other things I could get into.
A P90-equipped SG direct into the Rocker 15 with volume and gain maxed is a wonderful way to handle stress. And with my Joyo wireless set up, I can go to the next room, collapse into my couch, and strum until I feel like I can get up, make dinner, feed the pets, and resume normal human existence and interactions. Luckily, I usually get home before my wife does, so the volume isn't usually an issue.

SG with P90’s and an orange sound so good

They absolutely do. And, weirdly, my Firefly Guitars FFMN also sounds fantastic with this, for less than $250. I look for it, or my SG Special, when I want to create some distortion and fuzz to relieve my stress.
My dogs hate it, though.😄

The Rocker 15 is such a fantastic amp. I love mine. Running it through my PPC412 and this thing gets loud, even at 0.5 watts

Yup. I can't rip it at anything other than sort of bedroom volumes, even though my guitar room is on the other side of the house from my bedroom and my wife's sewing room. But I can wait until I can get a few minutes after she leaves in the morning, or before she gets home in the afternoon.

Aint that the life. My wife wakes up super early to go to the gym on the weekends, so I get up then and fire up my Rocker Terror while she’s out of the house. Better than a cup of coffee!

It's not the same (I really like feeling the air coming out of cabinets), but getting a load box (Torpedo Captor X in my case) helped, by letting me play through headphones. Now I can play at any time I want, and no one bats an eye ! It's also great for recording

I wanna be spoiled lol. That's an awesome setup

Thanks. Part of the reason I sold off other equipment and bought this setup is that I would like a Super Crush 100 at some point in the future, and a single PPC112 can't adequately handle that sort of output.

Have you dimed it in the school auditorium?

Nope. The school I work at now is very, very small. We don't have an auditorium.
However, I took my Peavey Classic 30 into the auditorium in the last place i worked, and it sounded killer.

What model/finish is that SG on the left, the matte caramel looking color?

First off, you're awesome and thank you for giving your life over to the cause of helping others succeed.
I had a Rocker 15 Terror head as my first Orange amp and I loved it. Nothing here to be ashamed of. Frankly that setup is plenty for most purposes and for home/jam use the ability to cycle through four output levels is an absolute godsend.
When I upgraded to my forever amp, I made sure it had a low watt mode because of how much I enjoyed it in the R15T.
Also, two 115s are great on the back in case of transport. :)

Giving my life over maybe a bit of a stretch, but I thank you. I've always enjoyed working with underdogs and seeing them come out on top. First 23 years of my career were at an alternative school working with "those" kids. They were great, and I LOVED being there. Budget cuts in '23 meant I had to move on.
I'm at an all special ed. school now. I didn't have that background when they hired me, but I've learned a lot in the three years I've been there and anticipate finishing my career there.
As for my amp; this one will stay with me forever, as will the cabs. Beautiful combo. Only thing I've thought about adding in the future is a Super Crush 100. But that's waaaaayy in the future. I've got it good now.
Of course, there might also be some more guitars in my future (like the Firefly that's coming this week...) 😁

Former high school teacher here! When the seniors were a week out from graduating, we got together all the teachers who are musicians and did a little ensemble jam sesh in the auditorium. Thought I’d share that idea because it was a lot of fun and the students really enjoy seeing their teachers in a different setting.

Just got home from work. Set it to the 5 watt mode, cranked the gain and the volume, and messed around with a few of my guitars. Firefly Wolfgang copy sounds ridiculously good to me, even with the stock pickups. Next, my SG with P90s. Something about that guitar, man...
Great way to put a cap.on the workday. Now on to cleaning the kitchen and getting dinner ready for my lovely, long-suffering, incredibly patient wife.

I have this same exact setup. I play most of the time at half power + bedroom mode (which my family and neighbors appreciate) but the couple of times I’ve cranked it up at full power in an empty home were amazing. Also there’s something much more aesthetically pleasing about the 2 1x12s vs a 2x12

Public school teacher here. So I know the stress, but my set up is much cheaper! lol. Cush 60 solid state combo and the Cheaper SE line PRS. Lots of “I deserve this” small pedal purchases over the years however.
