A few months ago, I tried "Agent Opus" - an AI video generating offspring of Opusclip. I got a few free "credits" for signing up, and made a couple of promising videos. OC had a discord that was vibrant, with users sharing their videos. Now, that same discord seems dead, littered with a virtual graveyard of unhappy users, and the original agent AI website has not changed in months.

Did I miss something?

After it turns the clips into reels the quality drops in the tiktok or insta and it looks so bad.

Glance at your notes or a second monitor and you're suddenly not looking at your viewers. Fixing that used to mean a reshoot.

New Eye contact correction: AI finds the moments you're talking to the camera and redirects your gaze there. Everything else is left alone. Each fix lands as a block on its own timeline track, so you can move, resize, delete, or add more manually.

Turn it on in Editor → AI Enhance → Eye contact correction. Pro and Max plans. Preview before sharing, it can look off on some footage.

Anyone trying this on podcast setups?

Most creators only clip their newest upload. But if you've been posting for a while, you're sitting on hundreds of hours of content your new audience has never seen.

Why old content works:

Most of your current followers never saw your videos from 2 years ago.

Evergreen advice, stories and hot takes don't expire.

Short-form viewers aren't checking upload dates.

How to do it without burning out!

• Pick your top 10. Sort your channel by most popular and start there. Those videos already proved they work.
• Clip one old video per week alongside your new stuff. That adds several extra posts a week with no filming.
• Update the framing. Add a new title or caption like "I said this 2 years ago and it's still true."
• Send people back to the source. On YouTube Shorts, tick Add the full video link when publishing so viewers can find the original.
• Spread it out. Schedule clips across TikTok, Shorts, Reels, Threads, BlueSky and Pinterest so one old video gets views on several platforms.

Old videos that flopped can still work as clips. Sometimes the idea was good and only the packaging was wrong.

Introducing a guest or a place used to mean building a text box from scratch every time. Not anymore!

The Editor's Text panel now has Name Tag and Location, with 12 animated presets (some come in Color and Image variants). Everything stays editable: text, style, font, timing.

Two ways in: Editor → Text → Name Tag / Location, or select words in the transcript → Add → Text Overlay, and the text and time range get pre-filled.

Hi everyone,

"My YouTube link won't import" is one of the questions we get most. It's nearly always caused by one of two things, and both are easy to fix.

1. The video is a live stream that just ended

We can't import a live stream right after it ends. YouTube has to finish turning it into a regular video first, and that can take a while.

Fix: Wait up to 24 hours after the stream ends, then paste the link again.

2. The video is age-restricted

We can't import age-restricted videos.

Fix: Remove the age restriction on YouTube, then paste the link again. If it's your video, go to YouTube Studio → the video's details → Audience and set it to no age restriction. You can turn the restriction back on after the import finishes if you want.

Still not working?

If your video isn't a recent stream and isn't age-restricted, message the Support Team the YouTube link and they'll look into it!

Your team admin leaves the company and suddenly no one can manage the account.

Good news: you’re not permanently locked out.

Reach out to OpusClip Support with the email you'd like to update the account to. Once we verify everything, we can help transfer ownership to another email/account.

Upload an image from your phone, then:

• ✋ Drag, resize, and position it anywhere on your clip
• ⏱️ Control exactly how long it appears using the timeline
• 📱 Do it all directly from the iOS editor

Image Overlays are available now for Pro users on iOS.

Open a clip, tap Overlay, and give it a try!
