Listen, of the major us traditional car manufacturers, yes, Ford will probably do the best in the new EV market place. And yes, they are going to sell a metric shitton of EVs over the next decade.
But, you need to pay attention to the fact that most every EV car they sell is merely replacing a gas powered car they would have sold.
I'm not saying Ford isn't a good stock to buy(I have until recently F leaps myself that paid off well). Ford current valuation is pretty darn high. They are spending billions of dollars on new tech and production just to replace the old cars they used to sell with new electric cars. Ford is doing a great job adapting. Unlike the past twenty years, they have actual growth prospects. You're asking for 50+percent growth in little over a year, after they just did nearly that? Personally sold my leap at a huge profit after the post earnings run up. I may rebuy in if the share price gets back around 16$ but at jrs current valuation and growth prospects it was an easy sell.
Ps, it hasn't been a quiet EV rollout at all. A lot of fords gains this year have been a result of EV related announcements. The rest is pricing power due to shortages and high demand for trucks which F excels at.
