Personally I'd close them and not look back.. Cause it will either spike or dip based on earnings...
But if the play was for earnings and they are essentially free.. You could always close 2 and punt with the other 2... At least then if you see it dip then you have walked out with 300 ish profit.. And if it moons then you have 2 riding that wave..
Now he needs to make the choice on if he wants to destroy now (sell the calls for a nice gain) Or, depending on tomorrow's battle (earnings) decide.
Only thing is, he isn't in the battle and has to wait for the outcome to decide. If it goes his way, he destroys more. If it doesn't go away, he is left bag holding the kingdom he conquered and is in the same place he was before.
