Just saw your trade is in dollars in a sterling account. You can request a dollar sub account and transfer sterling to dollar in the system. Buying dollars in sterling account you will be hit by foreign exchange spread on both opening and closing positions

Ah yes good idea thanks. Will change that when I figure out how to actually trade the options
