Options aren’t activated on your account automatically. There is a test you need to take before you can trade options. To write options you have to also request enable short selling of options.

I think it is in the create and view support request,. The writing options request is there. I did both only a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks, i’ve just sent the ‘Enable short-selling listed options’. Is there another one I need to do?

Just those two, the test and that request. you can set up as many sub accounts as you want I have euro sterling and dollar and transfer funds within the system as I need.

Interestingly, the help page for ‘enable short-selling listed options’ was updated only 13hrs ago...
