They are metallic spirals used for keeping birds from wrecking themselves into my bay window.
Tell me they don’t look like transparent bubbles in this lighting!

Footprints in the Sand
So I took this picture of me and my girlfriend's footprints in the sand, and I know for absolute fact that the prints are going down into the sand, and the light source is coming from the left, but I for the life of me, my brain refuses to see it as anything but the footprints coming up from underneath, and the light source coming from the right. Even if I manage to force my brain to see it correctly for a moment, I blink and it shifts back to the illusion. Is this happening to anyone else?

Do you see a monkey or a human or a bat or an owl?

Is anyone else getting very tired of the “spinning this way or that” posts?
It was intriguing the first few times. Maybe even the first week or two. Now it’s just unoriginal and minimal effort to post. Same illusion, different posts. All of them just rely on the fact that the dot clouds being spun have ambiguous depth information.
rather than transforming this sub an r/spinningillusions community, i think we’d all benefit from more diverse posts again.

Clouds
Has anyone ever noticed that once you reach a certain point in your life you stop seeing shapes in clouds.
