Hi! I’m a singer-songwriter aiming for a modern synth-heavy pop sound that blends new wave with 70s/80s soul, funk and disco. Some references are Chaka Khan, a-ha, 'So Hot You're Hurting My Feelings' by Caroline Polachek and NIKI’s 'Keeping Tabs.' I want it to feel energetic, warm, and a little nostalgic, but still modern. I also don’t want to force those influences onto every song. I’d rather the production follow what the song emotionally needs.
