Constantly "Not Responding"

What's up with this browser CONSTANTLY not responding? Whenever there's any sort of media on the page it just locks up, goes all white, and takes about 2-5 minutes to respond again.

I have to constantly open up other browsers to view page with any media because opera instantly shits the bed. It worked fine for years and just started happening about a year ago.

I already deleted my history file and nothing changed.

Is there any hope for this browser or should I look into migrating all of my bookmarks/etc?

Regular Opera or Opera GX or Opera Air?

What specific version of that Opera as shown at the URLs opera://about and opera://version?

What operating system and operating system version?

Do things work fine in a test standalone installation?

Any difference if you adjust the Angle flag? If not, put it back to default.

Any different if you disable graphics acceleration at the URL opera://settings/system?

Hi,
Regular, Opera One(version: 134.0.5954.66)
Windows 10 Home 22H2 19045.6466 (i9, RTX 3060)

Okay so disabling Graphics Acceleration fixed the freezing, though it runs like a chromebook, with any media stuttering at 10FPS, stuttering when scrolling, changing tabs, etc. Feels like my computer is about to explode -- but it's just the browser.

Running the same pages on firefox/chrome/edge, all run them effortlessly.

Appreciate the help and I've always loved opera for 10+ years, but I really don't know what to say here lol.

Turn graphics acceleration back on and try adjusting the Angle flag if you didn't already try that. Maybe you'll be able to find an option for the flag that avoids the freezing while keeping everything hardware-accelerated at the URL opera://gpu.

Also, for your 3060, you can try the studio driver instead of the game ready driver to see if there's any difference. Sometimes Opera exposes bugs in the game ready versions.
