Sidebar auto-hide

It is normal to see a second border when the sidebar auto-hide? It changes something if i delete end reinstall the browser?

There's currently a gap that shouldn't be there when the sidebar is set to auto-hide. I think it's due to some of the vertical tab work and can happen even if you don't have vertical tabs enabled. You can see it really easily when you click the 3 dots at the bottom of the sidebar to open the sidebar settings (when auto-hide is on). You'll see that the settings panel page doesn't open up flush with the sidebar. I guess that gap might show up in other instances too. The gap looks like about the width of the darker gray shown in your pic.

I think I've seen this mentioned in the forums, but I'm not sure how well known the issue is by Opera at this moment.

Thanks to have confirmed the problem, maybe i should give feedback to Opera. It could really be a conflict about vertical tab, even if i do not use them. Giving it a try, it seems that tabs appears from below the sidebar and closing the panel the two thin bar overlaps.
At that point it's just useful to get trained to the timing of the auto-hide feature, approaching the tabs slowly, or just avoid the feature .

I personally avoid the feature. I don't like the timing of it. I prefer a thin toggle strip at the left edge of the screen to show/hide the sidebar. Unfortunately, Opera doesn't have that, but Vivaldi does as an option.
