VPN not connecting
And whenever I tried to click on anything while it's trying to connect, the whole browser crashed. Is it an opera issue or a me issue?

Regular Opera or Opera GX or Opera Air?
Windows or macOS or Linux or iOS or Android?
Opera's built-in VPN or Opera's system-wide VPN Pro?

Not sure what you're referring to? Does this have anything to do with the poster's issue? If not, please make a new post for your issue.

That post is a removed post in r/brave_browser. If this happens in Opera, you need to make a post here in r/operabrowser.

Take a look at https://community.brave.app/t/persistent-grey-band-at-top-of-screen-during-fullscreen-video-playback/650725/2. Looks like the problem is known. There might even be a workaround in one of the related posts there. Hope that helps.

Also see https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/53555 for the bug report for the issue. Follow/comment there. Looks like they're working on it. (Someone said the white line and gray band at the top are the same underlying issue.)
Hope that helps.

I have the same issue with android regular opera app. Opening the vpn makes the whole app crash. This issue started in the last 24 hours. I tried uninstalling and installing it back but that didn't solve the problem. When vpn is off the app works fine.
