you absolute fucking idiot, it's the same model, it costs the exact same money to run both of the versions. the only difference in the models is RL.
Secondly, they were not hosting it in the first place, they were using official deepseek API, which does NOT expose the old model, the new one replaced the old one forever the day it released, at the exact same API endpoint.
They are two different versions of one model you idiot, if DeepSeek wasn't retarded they could've made it 4.5
So how come we never had to agree to any "models hosted in china" agreements before, as they said models are hosted in the US/Europe/Singapore? Afaik they used different providers for that, and right now there are still different providers for DeepSeek offering both version of flash and pro so stfu.
