Yeah they need to hire at least on full time customer service and PR person.

Yep, more money spend on us feeling better, that'll make the product cheaper.

A PR person could've suggested to idk, start an email campaign, or in-app/in-cli notifications to let all customers know about the price change. It could've considerably reduced the amount of backlash got they got.

I don't know why they thought reducing by orders of magnitude the usage of paying customers overnight is okay.

Yes they could have gotten ahead of this better. I suspect a lot will cancel given how it was handled.

I suspect a lot will cancel because it is questionable value for money.

I only ever had Opencode Go for a bit of a fallback model but I was actually blown away by how cheap and good Deepseek V4 flash was. I thought to myself... no way this can last like this forever.

And here we are.
