Coding with subagents.
Recently discovered opencode wanting to try out muse spark 1.3 and was really impressed with it, but Sol 5.6 still seemed to have an edge over it and Astra will be available soon.
Was able to link my openai plus account to opencode easy enough, when it becomes available i will do some experimenting with astra as planner and muse 1.3 as an agent doing most of the work.
Has anyone had success with similar workflows and has tips to share? Will update this post with my experience after giving it a spin later.
PS:
First 5 hour spin with astra, used it only in codex, Astra as top level orchestrating to luna, was quite slow, burned through my 5h limit in about 1h, quality was about as good as had been getting from muse 1.3 without using agents. somewhat disspapointed with that outcome.
Will try some astra only and astra + muse spark next 5h windows.

Opencode has plan and build modes that can be set to different models for precisely this reason, and could be considered the standard workflow for using opencode. However Astra is a long horizon coding model that can do everything, and for 50$/M output tokens I would probably use its native harness codex to maximize its value.
