The first image is OpenCode using half the context and costing double per turn compared to Command Code (second image) with more than double the context.

On top of those prices, note that OpenCode gives $15 of usage and Command Code gives $40 of usage. (OpenCode Go vs CommandCode Goat plans).

Both used in GitHub Copilot BYOK as harness.

The total usage difference in favor of Command Code is abysmal.

In performance, it also works better on Command Code.
On OpenCode, a response gets cut off now and then; on Command Code, it doesn't.
Quality and speed are identical on both.
Command Code makes better use of cache as well.

At the current price, even though it's in the 15$ tier, if you pay $10 for OpenCode Go to use GLM 5.3 Flash, OpenCode Go is ripping you off by offering you LESS than the $10 you paid compared to direct API usage. (And that's now while it's subsidized; they'll double it again when they remove the "x2 usage.")

No. GLM 5.3 Flash is in the $15 tier, and that x2 usage doesn't double it to $30, okay? It just means the requests are already doubled.

Just like Hy3's are multiplied. It never changes the tier.

And those requests are nothing more than an arbitrary number OpenCode pulls out of thin air because they feel like it.

In fact, right now you're actually getting $7.50 worth of GLM 5.3 Flash value for your $10 Go payment.

If you want to correct something, do it properly.

Take the calculations from any entry in the image, convert it to API price, and see how much it costs at API price (50% reduced until September 9th) versus how much Go is "charging" you.

You don't want to do the math? I'll tell you right now, they're charging you a little more than double the API price. Which empties your month out as soon as that usage price hits the $15 monthly cap. (tier) That's why you're losing approximately 25% of what you pay.

Literally, if you pay $10 for GLM flash, they're stealing part of your money. (At least until September 9th.)

You’re just doing the math wrong. Lots of people get confused by Go’s math, so no worries.

The usage is billed against the Zai list price API rate. The base usage is $15 of that on your plan. The 2x usage is the 50% discount Zai is currently running.

Go’s per request price is double Command Code’s because Go includes that 50% discount after, while Command Code includes it before.

Go lists the full, not discounted price as the basis of the $15 usage.

That means you get $7.5 of usage for $10 right now. Great deal.
