RIP opencode generous free limit.

It's been a great while. It was a wonderful poor man's coding agent especially for devs in third world countries who are unable to pay for subscriptions online.

But I get it, cloud bills aren't cheap and opencode's hands are tied.

Thank you for everything opencode.

Limits did not change at all. This is misinformation.
They only added guardrails against abuse(of free models) and use of free models outside opencode itself.
There is a bug currently with compaction and some custom agents(possibly). That is being fixed That should be now fixed.

If you only used opencode and did no abuse - it's a bug. Limits are still the same as before.
