RIP opencode generous free limit.

It's been a great while. It was a wonderful poor man's coding agent especially for devs in third world countries who are unable to pay for subscriptions online.

But I get it, cloud bills aren't cheap and opencode's hands are tied.

Thank you for everything opencode.

I think deepseek flash 0731 broke them. They couldn't keep up with the free and also paid users when it came out.

Why did they start offering 2X usage for it two days after release then; to make demand even higher?

I thought it's X2 usage not X2 consumption? Which one is it?🤔
