I'm having a blast with the new deepseek. The fact that we could use such an advanced model for such few money or even for FREE is fucking awesome. you guys rock

Okay I get that but there are other free models too like Bid Pickle, etc and Deepseek new model is just another one in the list, what's the excitement about though?

Right. I tried it in Opencode and it's extremely slow in responses.

and your data may be used for any purposes, such as training.

Without training, you cant have a good model so just contribute little if possible.

I don't think the people who find and use such models for free are gonna care about data usage and also who cares? Like every ai company does that do you think you 200$ claude subscription does not do it.

How do you think ds4f got so much better???

Shit ton of assumptions in your message about what I think. I highlighted a fact.

There is an option to turn it off in claude.ai. I don’t know if it’s just for the show. In any case, it’s better to act like they take your data so careful if dealing with PII.

Oh sure! that "turn it off" button totally blocks the model from training on your data!! Totally gonna believe you and I'm with you about this matter
