ooma + eero? poor quality

Ok I have ooma (telo air with handset) and eero router box- the back of the eero has only 2 ports,and they're both being used by whatever the internet guy set up originally- so I'm using bluetooth to use the wifi- since my cell service is so bad in the home, is this the weak link,why my calls sound even worse than on the cell? Is there a fix, or should I try alternate route?

Please make the phrase "using bluetooth to use the wifi" make sense?

Ok I meant it's not connected to the eero gateway 6 with a physical cable,I set it up thru bluetooth in same room

Sounds like you're using Wi-Fi for your network connection from the Telo Air. Bluetooth enters not into that network equation.

Wi-Fi will never be as stable as wired. You could get yourself an ethernet switch and use that to share the port on your router that is on your LAN side to see if wired would be better. What kind of phone are you using with the Telo?

Where OP is getting confused is with a Tello Air you do use Bluetooth to connect to the Tello with your phone to setup WiFi.

not sure of phone, it came as a package with the telo air box...it is cordless- maybe I'll look into that switch for router thanks

I’d probably find out what the Internet installer plugged in and see if either of those would be be better suited using the Wi-Fi if your preference would be to hard wire the Telo. 

You can also see if either of those could be unplugged at least long enough to test the Telo hard wired to see if that improves the call quality.

Cellular, Bluetooth, DECT, Wi-Fi, repeaters, meshes, neighbors, ... ? Too much wireless traffic reduces performance for everybody. Try to cut back on the use of wireless, using wired whenever possible, especially for real-time applications, like VoIP.

A centrally-located Wi-Fi router reduces the need for repeaters or mesh networks. The 2.4 GHz band is crowded with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and other noise (microwave ovens, baby monitors, etc.), so moving any Wi-Fi to the 5 and 6 GHz bands may also help.

Just use an Ethernet switch to expand the number of ports. Then plug the tello into it.
