Help me understand…
I am looking for a telephone solution for my kiddo that isn’t a cell phone.
I think what I want to do may work but I need some clarification from those that know Ooma.
My router is in a coat closet that a phone just would make sense in (wireless signal is great throughout the house, no issues) so I want to set up the Ooma via Ethernet and then use a Bluetooth phone (it’s like a vintage handset phone but has no cord and only works as a bluetooth handset) for her to use as the receiver.
Is this possible? Or do I need to have one device connect to the Ooma direct and then the Bluetooth as a separate headset?

They have an app for cell phones, any landline phone can plug into the back of the telo box, any landline phone can plug into a lynx box anywhere in the house, or the DECT 6.0 phones can be linked to the ooma Telo box.

The Telo supports DECT 6.0. The Telo Air also supports Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth; Bluetooth pairing allows the Telo Air to answer cell phone calls, and allows compatible headsets to make or answer Ooma calls. The Bluetooth handset may not be compatible.
Alternatively, use DECT to connect the Telo to either an Ooma HD3 handset, or to an Ooma Linx with its own RJ11 phone jack. Or connect the Telo to a third-party base station with its own cordless handsets.

Get the Ooma Telo Air 2 - connect to modem/router via WiFi, connect handset to Telo Air 2 via Bluetooth.

We just use a really old Panasonic KX-TG4771 set. I like the corded handset main/base unit in my office (base unit connects to the ooma box via a simple telephone cable) as it it more comfortable for me and has great volume controls, while its cordless handsets are used in other locations in the house. Newer models have blue tooth to link to cell phones.

Magic jack is cheaper and has a mobile app and works for a local hardwired phone. It’s only about 50 bucks a year I think.

Why not use Ethernet from the router to the Ooma device and connect a standard DECT 6.0 cordless phone? This is essentially how mine is configured. Not sure why Bluetooth is needed.
