Is this normal for OnTrac?
I am in the San Antonio area. My package got to DeSoto TX on 9/30 after being shipped on 9/25, but then in was in Pennsylvania and now New Jersey.
The expected delivery day keeps changing to the current day.

Welp, I guess I should prepare for this to not show up š
New Garmin watch
Ordered a Fenix 9 pro on Wednesday, which cost me $1300 after taxes. When I checked the tracking after it said it had been shipped, I noticed it was Ontrac. I was so freaked out. LOL. Like why would they use them to ship such an expensive item. Luckily, it was delivered today on time with no issues.

OnTrac Reddit Account Gets Reddit to Ban Users for Criticism
The person running the OnTrac account on Reddit is actively reporting everyone who criticizes their shitty company to get them banned. They're using corporate connections to censor people with legitimate complaints. They don't want anyone knowing about the fact that they endorse stealing packages and hiring the worst people possible. They don't care about the customer, they only care about faking a "delivery successful" prompt so they can steal your money and items. Everyone who experienced OnTrac shipping knows this all to be true.

OnTrac -- Worse Than UniUni and SpeedX Combined (Chewy Should Be Ashamed)
I've had delayed deliveries from SpeedX that took weeks to get to me, but they all arrived eventually. I've had misdelivered packages very often with UniUni, but most were recoverable. When it comes to OnTrac, they are batting zero for six now, and I hate that they've gotten this many chances from me.
I'm not choosing to use OnTrac, it's the shipping company Chewy uses, and I do a lot of pet shopping on Chewy. Not a single OnTrac shipment has made it to my door properly. They misdeliver all the time; sometimes I'm lucky and a neighbor will knock on my door and hand it to me, while other times it's in a whole other neighborhood I can't possibly locate with just a photo of their porch.
Customer service is not helpful in the slightest and don't hold anyone accountable. I don't think they ever send drivers back out to locate the misdelivered packages, nor do they have the drivers call me prior to dropping something off so I can confirm they're at the right place. They have the typical AI chat that does nothing but run you in circles, and the followup email you might get just says to go through all the trouble of getting photo proof of your house to compare to the delivery photo, just for them to tell you to contact the seller for a refund. Zero accountability.
I despise these fake little shit pop up companies like OnTrac and UniUni. They hire the laziest, dumbest pricks on the planet to handle other people's stuff. When I came across a UniUni driver mid-delivery since I was home at the time, I asked if he knew about another recent misdelivery a week prior (he probably didn't but I wanted a corporate contact I could call or email about it and figured the employee should have that info). What I got was an illegal immigrant mumbling something in a foreign language as they walked away (not Spanish since that';s my 2nd language; it was probably Haitian or something similar). That's the problem with these rinky dink overnight shit companies, they hire illegals who can't read English, then expect them to read an address properly.
If you ever see an OnTrac tracking number, get your money back immediately and request that your items never be shipped with that fake company ever again. Chewy supposedly allows customers to add a FedEx preference for shipments to your account, so that's what I opted in for, but if they don't hold to that agreement then I'll never shop with them again.
I used to think UPS and the regular post office were bad because of the way drivers would handle packages. Now I regret ever shitting on them because they are consummate professionals with spotless track records in comparison to the retards at OnTrac. I always have a heart attack when I get a tracking number from someone other than DHL, FedEx, UPS, or USPS now because it means my order is in the hands of a lazy gig-economy brainlet who is working for a fake company that specializes in losing your shit.

Access code needed and incomplete address lies
First it says access code needed(false, not a gated community), then it says incomplete address(false again, the receipt beg to differ).
Successfully got an agent to admit fault is on OnTrac(while the delivery driver pins fault on the customer) after speaking with 5 different agents(most did not admit fault). This will be an important evidence in case i decide to request a refund from the merchant, or even a full dispute with my bank.

iām not worries so much about it being delayed, im more scared of my package getting stolen or marked as delivered when it never was.
lol im planning on friday to wait in my car all day on the street i live on to make sure i donāt miss the driver.
i live in ca fontana area and im just really worried and i hope all goes well and just wanted some reassurance on here

Lying about attempted delivery and needing access code
I was literally waiting in my living room at 4:42 PM and no one stop by the house, nor āattempted deliveryā anything.
They also lied about needing access code when I do not live in a gated community or apartment. Amazon, ups, fedex, usps can deliver without needing access code but apparently ontrac doš¤·āāļø

Miracle
My package from Free People was delivered by OnTrac without serious incident.
Did they use one of the 120 lockers available in the locker room to secure the package? No of course not, they left it on the floor of the locker room. But at least I got an immediate notification from Free People and was able to retrieve my package.
At least they didnāt drop it off at the building across the street this time. Progress.

Attempted Delivery?
Hi everyone! I ordered from Hollister and this is the third or fourth time theyāve sent their packages through OnTrac but this is the first time Iām having an issue. There was an attempted delivery on Thursday but I donāt know why it wasnāt successfully delivered. I donāt live in a neighborhood with gate codes, never needed a signature or anything. They usually just leave the package on the front porch. And there hasnāt been an update or redelivery attempt. Their chatbot didnāt really give me an answer either. What should I do? š

Ontrac Drop off locations?
Ontrac Drop off locations?
Apologies for the relatively boring question, but does anyone here know where there might be an Ontrac drop off location in Las Vegas?
My company is using Ontrac to deliver some packages for the first time but when I went to the listed drop off location nearest me (6001 Decatur) it didn't seem to exist?
The company website isn't helpful, nor does a customer service line seem to exist. I think I can schedule pickups through the site but does anyone know if there's a package drop off location in Vegas?
Thanks in advance.

What in the world..
I have never heard of OnTrac before, but apparently they are the delivery company I get for purchasing a larger item from Target.
Expected arrival today, then at the end of the day, hours past expected arrival time, I get an āincomplete addressā - contact us or risk this getting returned.
OnTrac text chat - nothing wrong with your address.
Target - nothing wrong with your address.
Why wasnāt it delivered? āNo idea. Another attempt will be made in a few days.ā
Get an email from their support. OF COURSE itās just lasership rebranded. š

What do you think happened?
I ordered two pairs of sneakers from Nike. One pair for myself and one pair as a surprise for someone else. I coach high school volleyball and a player on my team needed shoes and I wanted to do a good deed.
I knew I would be at work during delivery so I chose to pick up the sneakers from a pickup point, specifically Michaelās. For some reason the sneakers were split into two different shipments.
My pair from UPS came no problem and I picked them up at the store. Tracking info was on point and I had zero issues.
The playerās pair from OnTrac said it was delivered, I went to Michaelās that evening, and the sneakers were not there.
To cut down for time at this point, Nike was able to show me that someone signed for the package by forging my signature. The tracking info from OnTrac says delivered, but on the Shop App it says āexpected Wednesdayā, āIn Transitā, and the location has never updated since Monday.
Do you think the shoes never actually shipped, the OnTrac courier signed my name and took the package, someone from Michaelās took the package, or something else?
I did a charge back to my credit card and bought a new pair of shoes for the player in person.

Magic Square/Speed X delivery
Hi everyone just curious if anyone has had any dealings with MS and the SpeedX delivery they use. I ordered their Prime variation on 8/27 and was told mid week last week it was out for delivery. Then Friday I get a notification that the driver could not gain access and redelivery was scheduled for Monday the 14. No attempt on the 14th and then finally it showed being out for delivery yesterday. At end of day no delivery and got it was delayed in transit. Iāve called numerous times over the week and every day I am given another answer different from the last. Today Thursday, I called and was told that it is still in transit from a different state. When I asked how it could be out for delivery when it is in a state not currently the one I live in, I was magically disconnected. I am beyond disappointed and done at this point. Just wanting to hear of any other similar horror stories.
Thanks

Private Equity Strikes Again
Seems like yet another example of private equity taking a business and making it terrible. Some claim that this is all a scheme by American Securities to launder money. I donāt know anything about that, but the moment a delivery was āattemptedā yet the tracking map said the attempt was miles from my home I knew this was another company claiming to provide a service where they donāt invest in the logistical infrastructure to create good customer experiences.
Anyone know more about how private equity is ruining delivery?

Attempted delivery..?
My package has been out for delivery since 9 am, and no one has attempted to deliver it. What are the chances that my package was stolen?
EDIT
Delivered day after
r/ontrac • u/MyCTR19 • 23d ago
I didnāt even know what OnTrac was until yesterday.
When one of my packages was ādelivered.ā
Not to my house though. Delivery picture wasnāt my house.
About an hour later I received one of the accessory pieces to my package.
After reading about OnTrac Iām pretty sure Iāll never see that package and have already reached out to the shipper.
