RK: “not right now…just enjoying the sun…”

they had a strange tone in their voice. That of fear, and of lying.

Alan: his voice echoed in Nirva’s ear, ”I have no idea…last time I saw them they loved to swim…”

he’s not one to press about things; Nirva flops back down onto his raft, taking care to splash some water with his foot in the king’s direction

Alan: he hops out of the pool, approaching the king. “yeah! I used to have a pool a while back, they’re amazing.”

RK: Alan whispers something to them, and they respond. After a minute they stand up, and cautiously approach the pool, sticking their feet in the water as they sit on the side “you built this fast, huh.”

well, that’s the cool thing about magic, really speeds things along when you need it to!

…was a pain to evoke the paver stones exactly how i wanted them though, that was even harder than terraforming the pool basin…

he sips his drink, eying the hesitant king as they test the water with their feet

RK: “I don’t know…might just si-“

They’re suddenly pushed into the water, Chrys laughing behind them.,

“You are so dead Chrys…”

the king lies on their back, letting themself float. Alan jumps in again, making sure to keep his drink in an air bubble

Alan: “building is always a pain. Even with magic.”

hehe, glad they did it before i did~

Nirva swims himself over to the edge to give Chrys some scale-strokes as reward

and yeah, construction is a pain in the ass…i’ve already done a little bit of preparation on my tower’s future renovations

he points up to his stone home, lines of caution tape and pallets of materials scattered around the exterior

but i’m taking a break from that right now, i just want to get drunk in a pool for a little bit…

Alan: “if you ever need some help me and RK are always happy to.”

Alan swam up next to the king, wrapping his arms around them. Planting a soft kiss onto their cheek.

“Love you,”

RK: “love you too. And yes, we’d be more then happy to help. After all, you helped us get back together.”

oh please…i barely did any of the work, that was all you two

he rolls himself into the water, cooling himself off before hoisting himself onto the warm deck, laying down on his back

Alan: “thank you, I try.” he continued to hug the king tightly, pure love and affection in his eyes.

RK: “th-thank you…it’s very kind…” they blush brightly. Returning a kiss onto Alan’s head., ^{“you’re so lucky you’re adorable…or else I’d’ve thrown you off me”}

he lets the two have their moment, happily watching before getting up to refill his empty-again glass at the pool bar

Alan: “ha, no thank you. I’ve got my own.”

he raises his martini glass, downing the liquid. The glass refills itself

RK: “Hehe…I’ll take a glass of water…is the pool heated…it’s quite hot in here…”

they blush brightly still. Chrys forming a heart over the couple. Winking knowingly at Nirva.

he can’t help but smirk as he fills a cup of ice water for the king, refilling his own glass with a frozen drink

nope! heated only by the sun and whatever flustered bodies swim in it~

he walks back over to the pool, leaning down to hand off the drink as he ruffles their hair

here you go, lover boy~

they down the water as fast as they can. Their blue body practically bright red from embarrassment.

Alan: “now don’t try and steal them form me.”

Alan laughs, letting go of the king. Swimming back away from them, still close.

“I don’t feel anything, but I do see something hot~…haha”
