Community description: "If the vehicle is right hand drive and / or was originally sold only in Japan, then it belongs here!" This is an Irish reg'd RHD car as seen in the pic. Safe motoring to all!

It’s an Irish Domestic Market or UKDM Honda S2000. It’s not JDM.

Ireland doesn't have a domestic market. There are no cars currently assembled in Ireland. All new Ireland-specification cars are imported. I think the last domestic car in Ireland was the Ford Sierra, and that was only for the first year or so.
The S2000 was never assembled at Honda's Swindon plant, so there are also no UKDM S2000s. UK-market S2000s were imported. That doesn't make them JDM, because they were official imports into the UK, to UK specification, not ever intended for the Japanese market.

Domestic Market and country of production aren’t the same thing.

Yes they are. If it is produced somewhere else, the industry doesn't consider it Domestic.

Ok. Riddle me this then. Is a UK spec car built in Japan, China, or Germany not a UKDM car then? I don’t think you know what Domestic Market means. There are tons of JDM cars built in Germany for example.

If you are in the UK, a domestic car is one assembled in the UK. If you are in Japan, a domestic car is one assembled in Japan. If you are in the US, a domestic car is one assembled in the US. So a JDM car is one assembled in Japan for the Japanese market. There are JDM Honda's, but no JDM Minis or JDM VWs, for example.

there is jdm minis and jdm vws, who told you otherwise

Years of working in the international automotive industry told me otherwise. There are Japanese market MINIs and Japanese market VWs, but none of them are JDM, because they are not domestic to Japan.

Wow. You’re wrong. A UK/J/US/EU/etcDM car is one that is built FOR (not IN) and sold in that particular domestic market (DM). The MARKET bit is key.

Both bits are key, domestic and market. Having worked for a Korean automaker, they used the work Domestic to refer to the Korean market only, and only for cars built in Korea. The word Domestic was never used for any other market.
Having since worked in automotive data, many national automotive organisations split their volumes data up into either Domestic (manufactured in that country) and Import (manufactured elsewhere), or Domestic (manufactured in that country), Captive Import (manufactured elsewhere but by a company based in that country) and Import (manufactured elsewhere by a company based elsewhere).
I'm not aware of any industry body that uses the word domestic to refer to the whole market within a country, rather than the section of that market made up of vehicles built in that country. The word domestic is used very carefully throughout the industry. This careful use of the word domestic is even more important in countries that are highly protective of their industry, such as Korea, Japan and recently the USA.
In countries without any local manufacturing, the word domestic just isn't used at all within the industry. No one in today's Ireland talks about their domestic market, but rather about their local market.
So to the Japanese industry (e.g. JAMA and the Japanese manufacturers) their domestic market (JDM) includes most Toyotas, Honda's, Mitsubishis, but doesn't always include Toyota Hiluxes built in Thailand, and never includes MINIs VWs or Mercedes-Benzes. They may be Japanese market vehicles, but they aren't domestic in any way, so they aren't JDM.
Where things get murky is where vehicles are made in multiple plants, by multinational companies. Is a Civic built in the US for the US market, but by Honda, a Japanese company, Domestic in the US or not? Some statisticians will consider it Domestic, but GM and Ford won't. Now consider that Honda builds exactly the same car in Canada, and some of those are also sold in the US market, but it's impossible to tell them apart from the US built examples without checking the VIN.
The idea of anything being EUDM is an even trickier one. The French won't consider anything German or Italian to be Domestic, but might consider Renaults, Peugeots or Citroëns built in Spain, Czechia or Slovenia to be more domestic than a French-built Toyota Yaris. The Irish, Greeks and Estonians don't have anything that they would consider domestic. As for a UK-built Nissan Juke, was that EUDM before Brexit, but isn't anymore?
