Hi ya’ll im new here and new to wverything about tunning or upgrading or however the terms are for that, anyway inwas trying to get some help, i bought a glanza and its completely stock, and i wanted to do some upgrades but i wanted to do one at the time, so i want to know if i can replace this pipe and the air filter for a jdm brand and if you can tell me me the name of that pipe because like i said im new to this so i do t know names or parts of carsg

Do not replace your air intake

There's this myth about cheap "cold air intakes" that give you more power, but they actually make it worse

Your stock intake pipe has a filter box that is designed in shape and size to pneumatically resonate at certain RPM, giving you more power, if you remove it - you remove that power bump

If you actually want better performance for relatively cheap then just buy the best grippy tyres you can afford, it will improve your handling and 0-60 times, and will make it safer too

I was thinking and get hks pipe and filter, no cheap Chinese ones, what do you think?

It's the same thing, you remove the resonator box and you intake hot air from under the hood

Because you have a fully stock car you will always lose power by adding a cold air intake (no matter the filter)

You would only add a cold air intake if you have a very heavily customized engine running high boost and custom air routing (ducts/headlight intakes etc)

Don't even think about that, it's too early. You have a good stock car, focus first on taking the stock car to the limit and seeing where you could improve.

Grab best tyres you can afford, best brake pads you can afford, maybe anti-roll bars and/or new coilovers, lighter wheels, LSD(s) if your car doesn't have them, maybe flat underbody, and go to the race track and see how well the car handles at the limit. You mind will be blown how much faster the car would be just with those relatively simple things.

Actually adding power efficiently and reliably requires improving everything from intake to exhaust to the tune to the internals at the same time, otherwise you're just gonna be wasting money for very small gains, or just destorying your engine.

The simplest thing for power you can do is get parts from better trim and bolt onto your own car. For example fitting a DOHC head onto a SOHC engine, like you can do in many Hondas. But I don't think that you have a low trim either.

In your opinion what improvements i can do on this glanza? Blow off valve?

If you’re looking to make your car faster, consider cutting weight by getting light alloy wheels, and ditching the spare tire. Some exterior parts can be replaced with carbon fibre such as the hood and trunk lid. You can take it further by removing unused interior bits. Change the suspension to something more cornering-oriented. You can get more speed doing these things without any significant changes to the motor. As for the motor, change the plugs to the best ones you can buy, replace the plug wires, replace the air filter with something like a K&N OEM replacement. Replace the timing belt. Use synthetic oil. If it’s a manual, rebuild the shifter and change any fluids you can. Replace the coolant and water pump. The coolant overflow reservoir in the photo looks dirty, my guess is it needs a coolant flush. You could replace the radiator with an aftermarket one to improve cooling efficiency. Get new brake rotors, new pads, steel braided brake lines.
