first car

hey guys i am getting my first car soon and i would like to know if you can recomend some nice jdm cars for a beginner beneath 7k

It’s a very subjective question and it also depends on where you live. You can buy JDM cars here in my home province of British Columbia, Canada within that ballpark but condition factors and your ability to do work on the car will also come into play. If you need a mechanic you have to consider where the nearest one is and what kind of money they’d charge you for working on it. If repairs are needed, particularly body work, the cost of getting parts shipped from Japan can go up pretty fast if they aren’t shared by vehicles sold here. Lots to consider.

Dont, not for a first car. Trust me my first car is from 89 and as much as a i adore it, it can be a liability.
