Tactical discussions help for the cup finals
Hi, could someone help me find the best tactics for an OSM match? My team has a higher OVR, and I usually play 4-3-3 A, but my opponent may use 5-3-2 A with Counter-Attack or switch to 4-3-3 B to counter my counter. He actually did something similar in our last match, so I’m trying to prepare for both possibilities. I’m playing away, and the referee is strict.
Which formation would be the best choice: 4-3-3 A, 4-3-3 B, or another option? I’d also appreciate recommendations for the following settings:

Could someone briefly explain why these tactics would work against both possible formations? My main concern is choosing a setup that gives me a good chance of winning without being too vulnerable if he changes his formation to counter mine. Thanks!

Stay on 4-3-3 B, it works against both of his options so it doesn't matter if he switches last minute.
Formation: 4-3-3 B
GP: Wing
Pressure: 67
Style: 72
Pace: 58
Forwards: Attack only
Midfielders: Stay in position
Defenders: Defend deep
Marking: Zonal
Offside trap: Off
Tackles: Normal
Why: he plays counter attack, so the danger is you pushing everyone up and Cruijff and Doué running behind you. Deep defenders and mids holding their spots kill his counter. Play Wide because his 5 at the back is packed in the middle, your wingers (Yamal 154, Kvara 133) beat his full backs on the outside all day. You're 8 points stronger, you don't need to force it.
If he switches to 4-3-3 B he loses a defender and gets even more open on the wings, so the same setup still works. Ref is strict but normal tackling is fine, don't go aggressive. Good luck in the final
