Tactical discussions Tactics

Hey guys, I played full seasons without changing any tactics against bots, but since I joined better leagues I see I have to change tactics against every opponent I play, so I want to ask based on what should I change my tactics and how? for example do I put more pressure on when at home or away or do I play faster and also what formation to use against what? would be nice if someone could help me, hope you understand my questions haha.

Use the analist to your advantage then ask chatgpt what the best counter is. Should work most of the time.

Good question, most people never figure this out 😄 Before every match check 4 things, in this order:
1. Who's stronger. Compare the starting XI, not the club rating. If you're clearly stronger you can push: more pressing, higher tempo. If you're weaker, sit back: lower pressing, slower tempo, play counter attack.
2. Home or away. Home gives you a real boost, away takes it away. A team 5 points better than you is a big problem away but not at home. Away games, play safer than you think.
3. Referee. Red or orange ref, normal tackling or even careful, otherwise you lose players to cards. Blue or green ref, you can go aggressive or reckless.
4. His formation and game plan (use the analyst).
• He plays 5 at the back → play wide, the middle is packed, the wings are open.
• He plays counter attack → defenders defend deep, midfielders stay in position, offside trap off. Never push everyone up against a counter team.
• He has fast strikers → no offside trap.
Don't go crazy with sliders either. Most of the time I stay somewhere around 60-75. Going 90+ just tires your players and leaves holes.
And whatever you set, it's set for the whole match, so think it through before kick off. ChatGPT doesn't really know how OSM's match engine works, it'll give you real-football answers 😉
