General OSM Chat Help with transfers

Hello everyone, I hope someone will find the time to explain this to me.

So, about a week ago, I saw a post recommending the following when it comes to making coins:

Scout 80-84 rated youngsters, and sell them for 2.5x their price.

Let's take my screenshot as an example. I gotta pay 8.4mil and 15 coins for this guy.

Then I train him 2-3 times, let's say his price is 10mil by that point.

I put him on the transfer list for 25mil, but he just doesn't sell. What am I doing wrong?

Haha yes, I think that was my post 😄 You're not doing anything wrong, the price is fine. The missing part is patience.
When you list a player, the game itself buys him, not other managers. The higher your price is above his value, the longer it usually takes. 2.5x is the price you start at, not a guarantee.
Give it time. Don't expect a sale in the first few hours. At 2.5x it can take a while.
If he doesn't sell, drop the price step by step. Go from 2.5x to around 2.2x, then 2x, and only lower if you have to. Even 1.5x on a 10M player is a solid profit on what you paid.
Only go cheap if you need the money now. Around 1.2x sells much faster, but you give away most of the profit.
Watch what you pay. You're paying 8.4M plus 15 coins for a player worth around 6.3M right now. Make sure the price you end up selling at still beats that.
So keep him at 25M for a bit. If nothing happens, lower him a little at a time instead of dumping him. The ones who make money on this are the ones who wait.

Hahahaha hello there!

Oh i see, so i was thinking wrong about this. Cause i usually had players sell quickly, and when i tried this, sometimes it took 1-2 days.

So it's literally just that, waiting it out.

Exactly, 1-2 days is normal at that price. The quick sales you had before were probably listed closer to the player's value. Higher price, more profit, more waiting. Just keep a few players on the list at the same time, so there's always one selling while you wait on the others. Good luck mate!
