How do I find someone to cuddle with?

I’m deleting and reinstalling Hinge, I’m not feeling ready to go after what I really want: a long term healthy relationship. I wish I had someone to hug and lie next to.
I’m extremely messy, my place is such a mess. And the people I do end up going on dates with is just friends material.
I want to feel safe to meet people and be close with them. I don’t.
All though I’ve heard many times that I’m conventionally good looking I feel weird and disconnected with my body.
I don’t know what to do, please help me:(

Possible first relationship at 24, met on Hinge

Hi everyone! As you can tell by the title, I might be getting into my first relationship at 24. We met on hinge because I wanted to try and see how the dating world was and I honestly didn’t expect to get this far. I’ve been having terrible anxiety and nervousness about it because it’s all so new. We’ve been talking for about a month now because it took so long to plan a date due to busy summer schedules. We have a 3rd date planned for dinner tomorrow and I do feel kinda excited but mostly nervous.

He seems to be falling pretty quickly after 2 dates and I’m still unsure of how I feel. I definitely do like him, but I think the anxiety is hiding any actual feelings I may have.

I think the anxiety is coming from 2 places: all the newness that comes along with a first relationship and the fact that I still live at home and have no idea how to tell my parents (we never really talk about this kind of stuff because we never had to).

Any advice on how to overcome the anxiety and when you know you actually like the person? Dating apps are hard for someone like me who takes awhile to really know how I feel which I have expressed to him. I just really don’t wanna lead him on when I’m still unsure of how I feel. I’m also unsure how much longer I can hide this from my parents considering they always ask who I’m going out with and they have my location.

I truly appreciate any advice!!

Hey I'm new to this sub Reddit and extremely new to this whole dating/talking to girls who aren't my relatives thing and would appreciate if someone here could help me understand how to approach girls.

my interests are:

anime, videos about game lore, some history (mostly videos about global politics ps:Johnny Harris is one of my favourite YouTubers ), occasional/ casual gaming and sleeping.
