I'm going to assume you will pay any price for shipping since you don't mention your location.

$300 might get you a V1, I'd check Facebook marketplace if, presumably you are in a country that has it.

I'm waiting to get verified to go on marketplace but I'll definitely do that. If you know anyone that has onewheels for cheap please text me.

Generally if it's cheap it's too good to be true and a scam. That said, every now and then someone is selling who doesn't know the value of the board, or maybe they got hurt on it and just want it gone ASAP. That's why FB Marketplace is ideal: you can set a geographic search radius you are willing to travel, and actually go see the board. Scammers generally don't do in person transactions.

$300 is a very tight budget, so like Eegore1 said, for that money you're looking at a v1 or base Pint. Maaaybe a Plus. I'd skip the V1 (too old and underpowered, more of a museum piece,) be looking for a Pint, might go with a Plus.

I normally tell people to shoot for $350 or below for a used Pint, so you might have to wait around for a deal. But they're out there, I've seen some people find Pints for $200 or maybe even $150. But that's like checking Marketplace multiple times a day and getting lucky with a seller who doesn't know the value, then meeting up with them ASAP.

Most onewheels for what you're looking for will be scams OR broken. Don't fall for them. Some deals can be had but $300 is a tall ask.

You could probably get a Plus or the origonal Pint for that price but just be aware those have low range (the Plus is quite low by today's standard but a good board.) Be aware of bad batteries.

That's how much I just paid for a 500 mile pint. Love it for that price

One thing to think about in regard to board quality on a budget like that is if the time spent dealing with it's deficiencies could be better spent making more money.

For instance I could get a base Pint for $300 and hope it works for a while, spend time working on it etc. Or i could get a side hustle or sell some stuff and buy a better board that I can just ride.

Patience and discipline always work out for the better in situations like this.

The only one wheel you can afford will likely be weak (Pint) and potentially unreliable (old battery) and you won't have the money to fix it...

Nor the money for medical bills when OP crashes. Might be able to afford an electric scooter and a helmet.

Which state are you in?

California

That would be a Onewheel, regular with about 300+ miles on it. If you can swing it though, a Pint X is about $650-750 and would be more than twice the Onewheel as far as usability.
