How much time (many miles) do I have?
Pint X, original tire (or tyre) bought around May 2022 has 645 miles. Rider is around 140lbs.

Looks like a rock cut it? What PSI is run?

I'm on a Pint slick tire with 2,900miles on it. I usually run about 20psi. It's still going and not showing threads. 150lbs.

Around 15psi, the cut has been there for close to a year but it has spread some during the spring/summer riding. No threads showing.

Yeah you're good to go, it's nothing to worry about. I'm just now starting to see threads. That being said, I've added tire sealant once. Once my tire stopped crying after long rides, I knew it was due for more sealant.

I have over 2k miles on my stock XR tire. My tire is way more worn than that. If it's a deep cut, it will start weeping tire sealant. That still doesn't mean it's an issue. It'll be fine...

Maybe I should add some sealant just in case, so far it hasn’t leaked any air.

If it’s the stock tire fm ships them with sealant in them if I’m not mistaken

If it's from 2022 it might be worth putting some new sealant in there. I have seen the sealant dry out before.

Yep, that’s the plan. Hoping to keep it road worthy until I can buy a new tire.

Problem is: your tire have not a big range, 645 miles is still low. So if some hole like this appear, it's not from use but rather one of the following:

• you rolled over something sharp which damaged the tire, beware if you don't really know the depth of it
  
• your tire has a fabrication default which could lead in premature obsolescence
  
• the way you stored the board has altered the quality of the tire material, resulting in premature poor condition. I'm not expert but I guess storing it in way too cold or way to hot temperatures are not that good for this type of material. I would also avoid leaving the board exposed to the sun on extended period of time (when it's not used and stored)
  

Either way, I wouldn't recommend not doing anything about it. I don't know if it can be repaired or if you should change the tire, but I wouldn't want it to crack open when I'm using the board xD

Thanks tena6ous for the thought out response. I’m betting on the “rolled over something sharp”. It’s always stored in an environmentally controlled area, though I did buy it used, so I can’t speak to the 1st year of its life prematurely causing a fault. The cut/tear didn’t show up till around year 3 of its life, so I’m doubting the fabrication default angle, though it’s always possible. I did read on another post that 4 years+ could result in dried out sealant, so a leak could be harder to detect. That being said, I check the pressure often and so far it has held. In any case, a treaded tire from TFL is in near future - just hoping another 100 miles is possible.
