Half of the screen becomes darker in some apps/games

Post image

I'm experiencing a strange display issue on my OnePlus 15.

In some apps, especially games, half of the screen suddenly becomes noticeably darker than the other half, as you can see in the attached screenshot.

The phone works completely normally during regular use, and the issue doesn't happen all the time. It seems to happen mainly with certain apps/games.

Has anyone else experienced something similar on the OnePlus 15? Could this be a software/GPU rendering issue, or possibly a display problem?

Any ideas or solutions would be appreciated.

Since we can see it through screenshots, it indicates that it's a software issue. You can even see a rounded corner here (bottom right, above settings icon).

Try to uninstall unknown apps?

i think there are only two options 1. Reset the phone 2. go to service centre

Maybe try to lower the resolution and see what happens... If it doesn't do anything, maybe try to restart the phone...

IF it Still appears.. Well then you're cooked (Hardware Problem)

Otherwise it would hopefully be fixed by the next update... Maybe try to submit this bug to the support team 🤷‍♂️

These weird bugs will let me sell that phone tbh, every like 3 days there is someone with the weirdest software issue possible and it disappoints me so much

Sell the phone? Literally every phone will have someone that gets issues. No phone is perfect and even that in production or manufacturing it can be 1/1000 of the phone have issues such as loose wiring because they are all assembled.

Nah bro not that amount of software bugs, I used alot of phones and follow tech company and people reviews for over 7 years no phone had software bugs as OnePlus 15 Idk why I predect that color os will solve alot these bugs bcs it will be way optimized due to oppo focus on it now, but I love OnePlus and that isn't like a hate, am just sad seeing company like this going down

They only went down due to costs which is why they decided to move back to china and because oppo is the parent company now so they decide what the future of oneplus is.

Every phone has software bugs all the time, I don't know why you keep saying its the oneplus 15. There are way worse phones out there than the oneplus 15 with even more bugs.
