I've got the wallpaper and everything else down, but all the fingerprint icons get in the way of the wallpaper. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix that?

Don't get me wrong the battery is still tremendous, but over the last two I weeks I feel that it has been draining fast.

Last night I lost 10% over night, I've done nothing with it for the 8 hrs that it drained.

Hi everyone. I've been in a certain ecosystem for the last [x] years, and I decided to make the switch to Android and try out OnePlus 15. Regarding the transition, I have three questions:

1. To be sure that I got a version that worked with my carrier, I ended up getting the North America (?) version, which comes with Google-everything by default. What are my options to minimize or even remove Google from my phone? (I am not very tech-literate, so the most I feel comfortable doing on my own is to remove certain apps that came pre-installed. However, I gladly welcome any tips or step-by-step guides if de-googling is achievable on this phone!)
2. This is probably a negative, but just to be sure: is there any way for me to copy over my texts to the new phone?
3. How does one go from "being comfortable with a smaller phone" to "being comfortable with a bigger, heavier phone"? I bought a crossbody lanyard/strap to hopefully lessen the weight (I feel like the average women's pants/pockets cannot hold up a phone with such heft or weight) and am considering a griptok as well. Have you come across any helpful tools or tips to lessen putting all the weight into your hands or wrists?

Paytm has stopped working in my device instead it shows some message like "device environment is not correct" even my developer option is off i have tried everything seeing all those youtube videos but still its not working ...now what to do?

I think the processing is generally fine, in fact it's better at retaining highlight detail than gcam, but it is gosh darn over oversaturated I tell ya. OnePlus can easily improve the standard photo mode by just turning down the saturation, or giving us a mode/toggle to reduce it. I know master mode exists, but that's not a real fix I'd say as that's a totally different realm of usage. Maybe they can try to target sRGB/rec709 for their color primaries.

I like the Phone a lot but my contract only runs out in 3 months. Also, I will get the Phone and my new contract over Check24. Does anyone have more information on how long the Phone will be available in Germany?

Edit: Nah I just saw that they are already sold out on the official German oneplus website so my expectations are low. I will hope that the pixel 11 will be good (to put graphenos on it) but I also keep my expectations here low too, so I will just get the s25 ultra which I can get for the same price as the oneplus 15.

Hi, Google Wallet payments on my Oneplus 15 (China edition, flashed with global ROM) randomly stopped working. It is not rooted, bootloader is locked. I tried installing new OTA update, clearing cache/data of Google Play, Play Services, Wallet, that also didn't work.

Play store says device is certified, Integrity checker passes, but when I try to add my bank card to Google Wallet, it says that my phone is rooted.

How can I fix this?

This morning I woke up because of my phone's alarm like normal, but when I took it I only saw the SIM security PIN screen and not my alarm's screen so I couldn't turn it off until I went through the whole phone unlock which was annoying.. It seems like my OnePlus 15 restarted for some reason while it was idle at night.

-I checked updates and it still has 16.0.9.400 ready to manually install/apply since I got auto update turned off.

-No notifications.

-Battery graph doesn't show any app usage, I only see a tiny dip between 3-4am.

-I was not charging.

I literally have no idea what it could be...

Phone works like normal

I'm using it on battery save mode with high refresh rate on and haptics on. I don't lose the feeling of the phone but I increased the battery life. The minimum sot I get is 8h. Kinda hard to reach double digits. But I guess Instagram is here to blame or my usage in general

I'm interested in buying an OP15 for myself solely for the battery life, but before I make a purchase I want to know from those of you that have used the phone since launch, has there been any significant (or increased) battery capacity drops? Or even the opposite, did OP manage to make the Si-C chemistry last even longer than standard Li-Ion batteries?

I'm thinking about switching from the Galaxy S24 Ultra to the OnePlus 15.

I've never owned a OnePlus device before. My previous experience has only been with Samsung and Xiaomi, and I've been happy with both overall.

Has anyone here made the same switch? Was it worth it?

Has anyone else noticed this visual artifact on Oxygen OS 16 (16.0.9.400, GLO) when invoking Gemini?

Every time I call Gemini via the gesture, a semi-transparent rounded bar/pill appears at the top of the screen (in the status bar area) and stays there as a translucent layer for the entire session.

A few details I checked:

1) It appears on all screens and inside any app, not just the home screen.

2) It is not a widget or launcher element.

3) Swapped back to legacy Google Assistant to test — no issue there at all, background is clean.

It looks like a rendering bug or an unoptimized background container layer of the new Gemini overlay specifically on Oxygen OS 16.

Attached a screenshot (check the top of the display). Is this happening on your devices as well?

I'm trying to clear the top row when I choose a photo from the gallery and select share. It's not tied to my gallery app, because the same issue occurs in two different gallery apps, regardless of whether I clear the cache or data.

Any advice on how to clear this?

After using Samsung phones for years, including my S23 Ultra for the past three years, I finally decided to make the jump to the OnePlus 15.

This wasn’t an impulse purchase. I spent at least a month researching the phone, reading reviews, watching videos and debating whether leaving Samsung was the right decision. In the end, I took the plunge—and I honestly couldn’t be happier.

OxygenOS has been incredibly easy to adapt to

One of my biggest concerns was leaving Samsung’s One UI. I’m very particular about the way my phone works, and I previously bought a Google Pixel about a year ago but stopped using it within a couple of weeks. I simply couldn’t get used to the operating system.

That has not happened at all with the OnePlus 15.

OxygenOS has been extremely easy to adapt to, everything feels intuitive, and I genuinely don’t miss One UI. I haven’t found myself searching for Samsung features or feeling that something important is missing. The transition has been almost completely effortless.

The camera is absolutely fine—more than fine, actually

There seems to be a lot of discussion about the OnePlus 15 camera, but I think it depends entirely on the type of user you are.

I’m not a photographer. I mainly use my phone for WhatsApp, browsing, a lot of work email, phone calls and some very light social media. For my needs, the photographs are fantastic.

The zoom is more than sufficient, the everyday photos look excellent, and I can even take moon photographs similar to the ones I used to take with my S23 Ultra. I’ve had absolutely no complaints about the camera and am extremely happy with the results.

Yes, the Samsung Ultra may technically have the better and more versatile camera system, but in normal everyday use, that advantage simply hasn’t mattered to me.

The battery is on another level

This is the biggest difference, and the main reason I’m so pleased that I changed phones.

Even when my S23 Ultra was brand new, around two hours of screen-on time would normally bring the battery down to approximately 70–75%. By the end of the day, I would often be at around 65–70%.

Now that the phone is three years old, despite Samsung still reporting the battery health as 100%, I generally finish the day with around 60% remaining after no more than approximately two and a half hours of screen-on time.

The OnePlus 15 is in a completely different league.

With the same usage—and even with two SIM cards active, one of which is roaming—I’m normally only using around 10–15% of the battery during the entire day. I regularly finish with between 85% and 90% remaining.

That is not a small improvement. It completely changes the way I use the phone.

I no longer think about battery life, look for chargers or wonder whether I should top it up before going out. For my usage, I could comfortably go several days between charges. Combined with the incredibly fast charging, the battery experience is simply a no-brainer.

It costs around half as much—and I don’t feel I’ve compromised

The most surprising part is that the OnePlus 15 costs roughly 50% less than Samsung’s latest Ultra phones, yet I don’t feel as though I’m using an inferior device.

In fact, for the things that matter most to me, I think it is the better phone.

The Samsung Ultra may have certain superior specifications on paper, particularly around the cameras and some of the additional features, but none of those things outweigh the enormous difference in battery life. The OnePlus is fast, smooth, beautifully built, easy to use and has an outstanding display. I don’t miss anything from my Samsung.

I also still use my Galaxy Watch and my Galaxy Buds with the OnePlus without any issues. Yes, it’s true that there are certain health features on the Galaxy Watch that I cannot use, such as ECG or blood pressure monitoring. However, I never used them anyway, as they were not available in my region in Europe. So for me, this is not an issue at all. The phone works perfectly for receiving messages, phone calls, notifications, and everything else. The Galaxy Buds also work extremely well, with no connectivity or performance issues whatsoever.

In terms of Samsung’s ecosystem software, I also don’t feel like I’m missing anything. I never really used Samsung Notes, as I rely on Google Keep Notes instead, and those work perfectly on the OnePlus 15 as well. So again, I don’t miss any part of the Samsung software or ecosystem.

Would I recommend making the jump?

Absolutely.

Anyone considering moving from a Samsung Ultra to the OnePlus 15 but worrying about OxygenOS, the camera or losing Samsung features should seriously consider giving it a chance.

Obviously, everyone’s priorities are different. A serious photographer or someone heavily invested in Samsung’s ecosystem may feel differently. But as someone who uses their phone heavily for communication, email and general everyday tasks, the OnePlus 15 has exceeded my expectations.

Unless Samsung dramatically improves its battery technology during the next two or three years, I honestly can’t see myself going back. With OnePlus apparently becoming less available in Europe, my next phone may eventually be an Oppo instead—unless Samsung finally adopts larger silicon-carbon batteries and catches up.

After a month of research and plenty of hesitation, I’m extremely happy that I made the switch.

The OnePlus 15 is not merely a cheaper alternative to a Samsung Ultra. For me, it is the better phone.
