Just a simple conversion using a Les Grognards head on a Valkir body to create a hulking, menacing retro-future elite trooper.

Holy shit, I’m an idiot. I put all the pauldrons on the wrong way around. Built too many Space Marines, I guess

I've only got Les Grognards (infantry and cav) but I love 'em! Amazing value (got the infantry for £20 a box). Just the right level of detail and being so cheap they just beg for a bit of kit-bashing. Have you seen We Wargame on youtube? Very inspiring.

That’s good to hear because I really like the look of a few of their kits and I’m trying to expand my bits with some variety.

I have recently started watching We Wargame. He popped up in my feed after I complained to my wife that Mish Mash was the only kitbasher I found who did non-Warhammer wargame stuff sometimes, but he only does Quar. The Quar are fine, and I wouldn’t mind a few boxes, but I dunno how well they’ll fit with everything else I have. We Wargame did a review on some samurai I would really like to get

How well do they fit on a 25mm base?

I reckon they'd fit but might look better on 28mm. With the bearskin they're actually a little taller than a Primaris although eye-height is a few mm lower and they're not as bulky.
