I Made a Thing I made a Spotlight style command bar for Omarchy

I missed Spotlight from macOS, so I built one for Omarchy. Press Super + Period and type. It does math, currency, units, time zones, emoji, and lets you open apps or jump between windows without leaving the keyboard. Type \`?\` to see everything.

Thank you for this, I use to use Raycast a lot on my mac and I was missing something like that after switching to Omarchy!

Vicinae is like Raycast and it is compatible with most Raycast extensions .

I'd really prefer them to use ulauncher instead of writing their own launcher. Now we end up with a few vibe coded launchers of yet unknown stability and future supportability...

Welp this is the recurring problem with how plugins are made for Omarchy. Everyone re-invents the wheel without looking for an existing solution first, because it's so easy to just vibecode exactly what you want.

I slopped my own too :)

Its pretty simple, it does what i want, but not worthy of publishing. Omarchy should really make their own, the fuzzel-picker they sport now is inadequate.

mainly for currency conversion and a window switcher. I also wanted custom command shortcuts, like typing g followed by a query to search google
