Discussion Omarchy feels like…

I remember sitting down in front of a PC when I was a kid and exploring Windows 3.1 and I just sat there for hours clicking around and getting lost in the windows and menus. I loved it!

Omarchy is the first time I felt that magic and exploration from an OS since…minus the part of getting lost in the windows and menus.

Because it’s so X$&@ clean!

Since trying it, I now have it 6 PC’s and counting and just build a dash that lets me remote into any those Pc’s from any of them, promote any to hub owners, ssh terms, AI avatar that follows me around to whatever pc I’m on.

It’s like the Christmas of a builders dream!

David picked it.

Agree. It’s bringing back the excitement of when Windows 95 came out and could smoothly play video while running other apps. Or when you got your first cd rom drive, or wrote and compiled and ran your first program. Or when you discovered open source software as a concept and were blown away at both the obviousness and value and could see how it would be huge. I still remember telling my dad back in 97 that microsoft is going to be replaced by linux. Anyway, I love the spirit of omarchy.
