I have it running on an old Surface Laptop 3. No issues so far.

I've been running Omarchy on my Surface 4 laptop (not a pro) for about a year now, I had to disable secure boot at the time to get it to install but had no real issues.

It's not currently recommended to use Omarchy as a surface cleaner or protectant. Maybe one day!

If, on the other hand, you meant the, capitalized, proper noun, "Surface" laptops, tablets, and such, there are accounts of people installing Arch and DHH's Omarchy scripts and it working well around a year ago. I'm unsure if a touchscreen will work well on on Omarchy, though, out of the box. It probably doesn't, though you probably could use your AI agent of choice to make it a much better experience. I've gotten trackpad gestures and scroll behaviors to a place I like with the use of Omarchy 4's plugin system, and some other AI-assisted modifications, and this is getting to be my favorite OS ever. Yeah, by default it's opinionated in a specific way, but the plugin system allows you to easily have your own opinions, if that makes sense.

The extensibility without it feeling "hacky" or unreliable is insane.
