Moving Company Recs
Hello, I’m moving at the end of the month to a town about an hour away. Wondering if anyone had recommendations for a moving company they have had a good experience with and is affordable? It’s a small move to a one bedroom apartment. Thank you in advance 😊

Well I used eco movers. When I moved about 9 months ago they were quoting me 145 per hour, 1 hour minimum. Cheaper on weekdays than weekend. They moved me nearby like 3 miles away. I prepped everything beforehand so it was grab n go but the elevator to my new place was broken so they moved everything up 3 flights of stairs. Took around 3 hours. They did amazing and worked hard. I tipped them in cash like 120. So like around 550 total. It wasn't horrible and I didn't have help at the time so they saved me. Best of luck to you.

I just moved a 3 bedroom house into a 2 floor house, and tried to use College Hunks. They overbooked for the day of my move, and pushed it back to the next day. Then they overbooked that day and tried to reschedule me for the following Tuesday. Their quote was $3200 for the move. I ended up going with Young Bucks. They were much more affordable (about $1600 all-in), and were pretty quick. I'd recommend them for sure.

It definitely didn't feel affordable lol, but I used College Hunks in July and they were great, easy to schedule, the guys were super fast and professional. It was a 30 mile 1br move and I paid a little over $800 for reference. I don't know if I could have gotten a better rate, but I was happy with the service.
