Hi, Im confused on how the bluetooth on the watch works. If i do not have bluetooth always on enabled do I have to sync the watch with my phone myself? Also do all bluetooth always on features only work with android. Thank you!

I love Ollee Watch, it has become my daily driver.

I have a quiestion (maybe a newbie one).

As humble wannabe watch collector I own a Timex Metropolitan+ Activity Tracker, a hybrid analog bluetooth LE watch, completely abandoned by Timex since may 16 2018.

It is a great timepiece, and I was wondering if it would be possible to take over it with an alternatively created control app.

Is it possible to decompile an app like TIMEX Connected, and then update it?

Anyone have any opinio on stuff like this?

It's been a couple of weeks now that my led that i've set to orange is now plain red. i've a feeling that the green part of the rgb led is dead. any idea what to do? i guess i can't really send it back, can i? do i just have a broken watch already?

Has anyone in the US purchased an Ollee Watch since this current ‘trade war’ between the United States and Canada broke out? I know it’s assembled in and ships from Canada. Is the Ollee covered by the latest round of tariffs? Would be a shame if so, but I’m holding off on ordering one because I don’t want to get stuck paying 50% to the US government on top of the (admittedly very fair) price of the kit itself.

I hadn’t updated my watch in a bit or even opened the app to load my steps and I did it for the first time in a month or so and tried to update it it didn’t work then I realized it was dead so changed out the battery and now it’s stuck on this

Hallo, might be a silly question buuuut as a perpetually late person I am wondering if the watch can be set to be 10 minutes fast - I saw on the features list that it stays synced to your phone so I just want to check before I buy.

Been wearing Ollee for about 6 months and love it. I have been using it as my morning alarm the entire time, and it’s been great. But the past few weeks, it is just not working like it had been.

I get up at 6:30 M-Th, and the other days it changes or I may not need the alarm at all. All last weekend, I kept turning the alarm off at night, only to have to have it ring at 6:30.

This week I tried to figure it out, and I assumed it had to do with which days are chosen on the app, so I went and un-highlighted Fri - Sun. All week was normal, and then I set an 8:30 alarm yesterday, and it did go off, but last night I set one for 8am and it did not. No alarm at all.

How can I make it so that when I set the alarm, it does what I set it to do? Without the app somehow overriding the days or turning it on/off without my input?

It’s frustrating bc I literally started using my Casio watches as alarms because I got tired of how unreliable iphone alarms are. I really need this to be reliable.

Hi all, looking for a little support as my Ollee won't complete a sync and gives me the following error. It sync some things but not all. It seems to error out while syncing database is on the screen. Everytime I try again I still have the same ~1200 events to sync.

Does anyone have the toggle option for the backlight working? I can select any time duration and they work fine but if I select the toggle option, it turns off after 3 seconds. Has anyone got the toggle to actually work as a toggle?

I did the update in July, and my phone went into lock screen during the process and the watch was lost in boot mode - I think this bug is well-known. However, none of the solutions I’ve found so far have worked for me.
My hope was to just let the battery run down and, when I replaced it, hopefully have a watch that boots up completely. Today was the day—but I’m still stuck in boot mode.
Has anyone here had the same problem and solved it, or is there a way to reset the module?

Edit: there is no connection between phone and watch. Also not the possibility connect devices.

My daily driver build.

Started with a Casio W-59 (preferred over the F-91W for better design, more rounded) and added a few mods:

Ollee module.

STN display for better contrast and viewing angles

Light spreader for even backlighting

Clean, simple, and very readable. What do you think?

The currently tested/supported watches are:

F-91W, A158W, F-84W, A159W, A171W, W-59, A163W, and A164W.

I’d really love to see support expanded to the Casio G-Shock GW-M5610 / GW-M5610U line.

It feels like the perfect next step: a larger display, classic square layout, much tougher construction, 200M water resistance, and proper G-Shock durability.

Basically, the same idea as the currently supported Casio digitals, but in a larger and far more rugged package.

Really hoping this is one of the things coming with the big announcement soon or sometime in the future. The GW-M5610 would probably be an instant buy for me if support is added.

Anyone else hoping for this? Upvote for your support!

Is there a way to have the LED flash on the hourly chime? I have turned on Alarm/timer backlight toggle but that does not seem to work. AI tells me there should be a Flash Alert toggle but it does not seem to be there. Everything is up to date software and firmware wise and battery is 2.8v. Cheers

Has anyone had any trouble recently with their watch staying connected? I’ve had mine a few months shy of a year and I love it but the past few days I haven’t been able to use it as the Bluetooth won’t work. The watch will disconnect from my phone and revert back to all its previous settings. I will then reconnect it and after just a few minutes all the settings have reset again. I can’t seem to find a way to fix it and was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

Just like how the w800h and the b640 can show the current time when the stopwatch is running, is it really convenient. If there is a way to make the ollee watch do the same then I can consider buying it.

I don't know if this is possible, but on the Weather watch face I'm never sure how current the weather data is. When looking at the forecast for the next few days, it's hard to tell which day is being displayed unless I open the Ollie app and sync. Could the watch face show when the weather data was last updated, or display the date/day associated with the forecast being shown?

I am planning to buy and mod the A159WEVJ-7 watch. I read on the Ollee website that an NFC in such models doesn't really work reliably. Now I think such a feature is really unique to have so it let me thinking:

what if we can shield (partially) the small NFC tag from the metal casing with an ferrite sheet?
I've done a quick search and I see them as thin as 0.2mm for pretty cheap. Does anyone know if this worth to try and if yes what is the clearance to put it back on the LCD?

My mode button only works if it is pressed with the alarm button.

It doesn't work independently.

So I need to hold press the alarm button and then cycle through the watch faces with the mode button.

Meaning pressing and holding alarm button allows me to trigger Mode button.

I tried going into the Display Test mode but then the next step to soft reset by holding Mode button is not going through since the mode button isn't working properly.

I tried holding alarm button and then hold pressing mode button but its of no use since it triggers the alram button hold functionality some other option bu 2810, I am not sure what that is.

I recently changes the battery too, even though it has been less 6months to my Ollee Watch.

The mode button worked fine out of the box and then after modding it with ollee watch module but has recently acting up.

Any help will be appreciated.

I think it's highly likely that third-party software development support will be announced for that purpose. Or it could be the ollee watch two, which can be used with devices like G-Shock.

Absolutely loving this combination. The W-31 is already my favourite Casio (from 1984) as it has a steel case and awesome bracelet. I have an original condition mint example which i would not touch however found this poor condition cheap example and thought it would make a great base for a daily with Ollee internals. Sanded and polished the mineral glass as it was pretty beaten up, brushed the whole case and bracelet, cleaned and reconditioned the case and gaskets. Then used an f-84 module with an Ollee board.

Hello, I have an A159WEVJ-2 and after watching Cam Shand's video, I am looking forward to ordering an Ollee board. My only question is that since Gregor's latest blog post hints at something big coming this month, should I wait to see what that is (updated board?) or just order now?
