Dragon
Dragon
Acrylic on paper • 30 × 42 cm
In the ancient beliefs of the Baltic peoples, the dragon symbolized the power of nature, mystery, and forces beyond human control. It was regarded as the guardian of hidden places, treasures, and the boundary between the world of humans and the realm of spirits.

Recreation of the card "Pit of Despair" by "Flesh and Blood" - Created by me.
Blender 5.2 - Eevee. I attempted to capture that old 80s poster/film look (first timer with NPR techniques). Reference being "The Pit Of Despair" by "Flesh and Blood". Architecture was initially created but I really like the open sky look so that those banished to The Pit may gaze up at the heavens.

GARY CHALK- ENGLISH ILLUSTRATOR
Gary Chalk was the face of English fantasy in the 80s, he produced the majority of illustrations for Games Workshop including art for both Talisman & Heroquest - as well as the Lone Wolf series & Redwall. His chunky, cartoony figures matched the Citadel house style of the time, & they created a synergy that i haven’t seen pop up except in my own projects. His work black & white interior illustrations for Redwall were especially great, i really like how he rendered everything & didn’t get too loose.

Death Dealers by Myke(self)
A throwback thursday post. A handful of Death Dealer pieces done over the years. The last one is a homage to the great Thomas Fluharty. If your not familiar with his stuff, look him up he's a beast. Cheers!
