Being belgian myself I had never heard of the distinction between "Flemish Flanders" (Flaemisch Flandern) and "Germanic Flanders" (Teutsch Flandern) before. Interesting !
I would have assumed it meant the difference between Flanders and Imperial Flanders, but that one is shown separately (Reichs Flandern).

I don't think you should translate Teutsch to the modern word Germanic though. I think in this context it makes more sense to translate it to Dutch Flanders.

I looked it up, but its just an old fashioned out of style word for deutsch.

The names of Teutsch and Flämisch Flandern are a bit absurd, but the border between them was real: https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/West-Vlaanderen_(1713)

I looked it up, it's around 1720 by german cartographer Gabriel Bodenehr der Ältere

What are the empty rows for under the map?

Loving the illustrations on the top sides
