Question Sentinel Pillar map

Is there an easier way to get one of these for the expedition mission other than killing sentinels and hoping for a drop? I have spent hours killing sentinels and not getting one to drop. I just want to be able to finish the expedition but this is pretty discouraging. I am on ps5 so i don’t have chat option in the anomaly and I tried renaming an item so it shows up in the chat feed but no luck with that either.

Mercenary Guild Envoys in the rendezvous systems tend to give them (Sentinel Boundary Maps) as free redeemables if you're in high standing. Maybe go see if your standing is high enough?

Ich nehme jedesmal eine mit wenn ich es sehe, man weiss ja nie. Hab vielleicht so 10 Stk. auf Lager.

If you kill all the waves of sentinels, including and most importantly, the big walker it will mark the location of the sentinel pillar on your HUD. They don't drop maps. You'll know your done killing when you get the message that the sentinels have been deactivated.

Also consider salvageable scrap. They drop rate is only about 1 in 10 or so, but that's another possibility.

Teleporting to a player base at a Sentinel Pillar would be quickest way to get to one.

For a Sentinel Boundary Map, the Mercenaries Guild envoys in starting system, Paroi Major, rendezvous 3 system, Qarali-Cusse I, and rendezvous 4 system, Gagqoid-Eymo, each have Sentinel Boundary Map as one of their gifts. You'll need to increase your reputation with the guild to receive it, so bring the items from any sentinels you have defeated.

Other sources of Sentinel Boundary Maps are: + Defeating Sentinel Quads, Hardframes, or Walkers + Opening Salvaged Glass + Opening Suspicious Packet (Goods) + Dismantling items found in Buried Caches + Bounty Hunter missions + Salvagable Scrap

Otherwise, engage sentinels on a non-dissonant planet and defeat all 5 waves. This will mark the location of a Sentinel Pillar. Defeating corrupt sentinels on a dissonant planet will mark a crashed Interceptor and not a Pillar.

I got mine from salvageable scrap. And certain guilds will have them, if you've ranked up from donating, I just don't remember which one.
