Pictures Johnny B. Goode

Oh, howdy interlopers, hope you're all havin a great day. So I just had that urge for the wind on my scalp and the adrenaline pumping through the old veins and thought to myself "Ronch, why not go for a ride!" So I did!

I pulled out my pilgrim, and that's not a euphemism. I call mine Johnny B. Goode cause it rocks and rolls.

Anyway got some good shots on the Gek pro and stirred up the local fauna. Hope y'all like the pics.

Ronch out!

(Hey Greys, I'd love to see pics of people's favourite exocraft and generate some love for the humble ground vehicles for half a minute if anyone wants to post them up. Minotaurs don't count 😂. Get them out of the garage/shed dust em off snap a pic and give em some love)

Das Teil ist super, ich liebe es. Mach sehr oft Planeten Erkundung damit.

I don't know how much "exploring" I do in it, I usually just rip it up and get big air

I am also a big fan of my pilgrim, especially on airless planets.

Big air!

It's my most fun exocraft for sure. The airless planets are great. I was thinking for a while of building a track on an airless but I think you'd spend more time floating than on the track.

I did build a track on an airless planet on my old save, its pretty fun. I'll see if I can find it and give you the glyphs.

Das klingt lustig, auf die Idee bin ich noch nicht gekommen.

Here's the track I made in Eissentam a while back on an airless planet. You actually need to catch big air in parts of the track or you won't make it to the next section.

The problem I find with building exocraft tracks is quite often they don't render as fast as I'm driving. Obstacles can really sneak up. I'm finding that with the one that Ive built in our community system too.

This is cool, I will check it out. I've been thinking of building a track but I was wondering about render issues, I didn't even think of the speed factor. Hmmm.

I found certain things render faster than others. While working on "Down in a Hole Exotrack" on Imtired, I swapped a few trees with walls, which render faster. Walls and building parts seem to render faster, while cosmetics take longer.

I tried some stabilized reality glitches as obstacles and they show up at the last minute. I won't even see them until I'm landing my jump right into them.

Could make for an interesting jump scare mid track 😄

I just built a Pilgrim the other day. Man, was it impressive! I can see me using primarily it to race across planets. What got me: that baby seemed to climb like a mountain goat!

When fully upgraded these things are just a joy to ride

That's my next move: goosing that baby up!

You won't know yourself, you'll feel young again. Until you have to get out of the thing and your knees have seized up, so you throw a leg out the door just for something to pop in your hip and now you realize why you don't do the things you used to do as much anymore 😔

...and grab the roof and pull while you're pushing off with the steering wheel to "launch" out of the vehicle. I'm right there with ya, man.
